Join AJN - Facebook Ad
With the new choir season approaching, A Joyful Noise (AJN) has asked us to create a distinctive ad that captures the essence of their community and sets them apart from other choirs in Edmonton.
To achieve this, we filmed interviews with choir members, allowing them to share their personal experiences of being part of the AJN family.
The colours featured in the ad symbolize the three levels of AJN choirs and are consistent with the choir’s broader branding and promotional materials.
Motorcycle - ‘Stand Out’ Red
At a motorsports dealership, where there is a vast collection of motorcycles, ATVs, and Side-by-Sides, space for setting up a photo studio is often limited.
My solution was to capture the motorcycle through the wheel of another bike, creating a beautiful yet subtle framing within the frame that enhanced the composition without being distracting.
Choir - Final Concert
A single photo, if done right, can often tell an entire story.
In this instance, the image captures the final moment of a season-ending choir concert. You don't need to see the audience to understand the impact; the expressions and body language of the choir members make it clear that they are receiving a standing ovation.
Speech Dojo - Timeline
A short video showcasing the journey of Speech Dojo and their accomplishments. Their achievements have enabled kids across Alberta to enhance their public speaking skills.
Mayer & Boch - Products
Mayer & Boch requested a video showcasing as many of their products as possible in under 2 minutes. Initially, we considered a simple slideshow presentation. However, after a brainstorming session, we developed a more dynamic approach.
We decided that the best way to highlight the products was to show them in use. Filmed handheld with minimal editing, the video effectively demonstrates the range and quality of Mayer & Boch's products, giving customers a more authentic experience. (Starring my mom as a chef <3)
Motorsports - E&S
I had very limited time with Jamie, a salesperson at E&S Motorsports. To address this, we decided to film handheld and improvise, allowing us to capture footage quickly.
While this approach enables fast filming, the downside is that post-production for such projects tends to be more time-consuming.
Despite this, the spontaneity and rawness of the footage often lead to more authentic and engaging content.
